Steps to make Shami Burger:
- Soak chana dal in a large bowl for sometime. Start by grinding the mutton in a grinder jar. Now, place a pan over medium flame and pour oil in it. Once the oil is hot enough, add minced mutton to it along with soaked chana dal, onions, green chilies, garam masala, coriander powder, cumin powder, coriander leaves, ginger and garlic paste. Mix all the ingredients well and cook till the dal softens and mutton appears cooked.
- Remove the pan from the flame and let the mixture cool for a while. Add all purpose flour to it and along with salt. Mix all the ingredients well and make round flattened tikkis from the mixture. Now, place a separate pan over medium flame and pour oil into it. Once the oil is hot enough, add these tikkis to the pan and deep fry them till they turn crispy and brown.
- Place the burger buns onto the pan until they turn slightly brown. Remove from the pan and place the mutton tikki in between the buns. Serve hot and enjoy!
