The ingredients needed to make Curd curry:
  1. Get 1 cup curd
  2. Make ready 3-4 cups water
  3. Make ready 2-4 tsp Besan
  4. Prepare 8-10 curry leaves
  5. Prepare 1/2 tsp Mustard seads & Cumin seeds
  6. Prepare 1/2 tsp Hing
  7. Get 1 tsp Turmeric (haldi)
  8. Prepare to taste Salt
  9. Take 2 Oil for tadka
  10. Make ready 5-6 garlic cloves
  11. Make ready 2 green chillies

It is basically whisked curd flavoured with a semi-spicy coconut paste. Moru curry is Butter milk curry which is a famous and traditional recipe of Kerala. Moru in Malayalam refers to curd or yogurt. It is usually prepared with vegetables like ash gourd, yam, raw plantain, yellow cucumbers etc.

Steps to make Curd curry:
  1. Take a curd bowl add besan,salt, turmeric, garlic green chilli paste and water mix well make a thin batter.
  2. Batter Shift in another utensil. Add curry leaves, salt. On fast flame boil it for 8-10 mins. Lastly, give Tadka of mustard & cumin seeds with hing & curry leaves.

Moru curry is very simple and easy recipe which is at the same time very tasty too. Also known as Moru curry, this curd curry is perfect when served with plain rice and papads. A regular with regard to the Kerala cuisine, a meal is not complete without having the inclusion of this curry. Heat a griddle on medium heat. When hot, add the cumin seeds and dry roast until they are slightly fragrant and start to get darker in color.
