Instructions to make Lemon pickle:
- First we made lemon ginger pickle.
- Wash the lemons nicely, dry them and wipe with clean cloth so that no water or droplets should be there and cut them into peices acc to your choice
- Grate the ginger and make little dry as ginger is too uch watery after washing.
- Once it little dry mix the ginger,lemon,salt and garam masala in glass jar and cover with cloth.
- Keep it under sun for 15-20 days or till the lemons become soft
- Once they become soft fix the lid and you can consume for next 1 year but remember it should be in proper sunlight and no water should remain from initial till last.
- Now we will make lemon chilli pickle.
- Wash the lemons, wipe it and dey them nicely. No moisture and water remain on lemons.
- Now cut them acc to your shape and size.
- Mix the red chillies and salt into it and put it in jar cover with cloth.
- Keep it under sun for next 15-20 days or till the lemons become soft.
- Once they are done fix the lid and store it.
Lemon Pickle is easy to make and can be kept for years. Lemon pickle is at its best, as it becomes old. Lemon Pickle is my all time favourite pickle. Got fresh limes from Indian store last night. Half of the limes, I made Sour Lemon pickle and spicy Lemon pickle.
