  18. Get 20-25 red chilli whole
  19. Prepare 1 cup hot water
  20. Get 1/4 cup oil
  21. Make ready 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  22. Take 3 tbsp chopped onion
  23. Get 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
  24. Prepare 1 tsp salt
  25. Take 1 tbsp soya sauce
  26. Take 1 tbsp vinegar
  27. Make ready 1/4 tsp pepper powder

But homemade is always fresh and. Homemade Schezwan sauce is a fiery spicy but extremely tasty sauce. It's something one should have in your pantry. This spicy sauce is ultra-flavorful, extremely yummilicious.

Steps to make Schezwan curry:
  1. First, we will make schzewan sauce.
  2. Deseed the red chillies and soak it in hot water for 30 mins.
  3. Add them in a blender and make a smooth paste. Add water if required.
  4. Now heat oil in a pan, add ginger garlic paste. Saute them for a min. Now add onion and saute them till it becomes transparent.
  5. Now add red chilli paste, saute and mix and add half cup is water. Add sugar, salt and pepper.
  6. Cook until oil separates. At this point add soya sauce and vinegar.
  7. Finally, mix well and cook for 2 mins.
  8. Your schzewan sauce is ready, once it's cool down you can store it in jar for next 6 months.
  9. Now we will make the schzewan curry.
  10. Chop all the veggies (not too big not to small) and keep aside.
  11. Now make a cornflour mixture. Mix cornflour in water and make a thin batter and keep aside.
  12. In a bowl mix schzewan sauce, vinegar, soya sauce, sugar and oreo is ready.
  13. Now take a wok heat 1 tbsp oil and saute red chillies for a min and then add chopped onions and saute again for 2 mins.
  14. Once the onions are done add ginger garlic paste mix well and add all veggies, salt as per taste (remember sauces already are salted so add salt acc to veggies only).
  15. Cover the lid for 4-5 mintues.
  16. Now remove the lid add the sauces mixture and also 1 cup is water. Mix gently
  17. Now add cornflour mixture and mix again.
  18. Boil till the desired consistency.
  19. Dish is ready, enjoy with steamed rice.
