The ingredients needed to make Mushroom Pulao:
  1. Take 1/2 glass Basmati rice
  2. Take 7-8 Mushrooms, chopped
  3. Make ready 2 Onions, chopped
  4. Prepare 4-5 Garlic Cloves, roughly chopped
  5. Get 1/2 Ginger, grated
  6. Get 4-5 Beans, Chopped
  7. Prepare 5-6 Cauliflower florets
  8. Get 1 1/2 tbsp Coriander powder
  9. Prepare 2 tsp Turmeric powder
  10. Get 1/2 tbsp Garam masala
  11. Prepare 1 tbsp Kitchen king
  12. Get 1 tbsp Red chilli powder
  13. Prepare to taste Salt
  14. Prepare 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
  15. Get 2 tbsp Oil
Steps to make Mushroom Pulao:
  1. Wash and soak the basmati rice in water before starting to cook.
  2. Heat butter or ghee in a pan and add in the clove, cardamom and cinnamon stick. Add in the sliced onions and saute till the onions are nice and brown.
  3. Grind the garlic, ginger and black pepper with little water to a smooth paste. Set aside. Or you can also sauté some roughly chopped garlic.
  4. Add in the ground paste and salt and fry for 5-6 minutes till the mixture is very dry.
  5. Add in the italian seasoning, mushrooms, other veggies. Saute for 5-7 minutes, till they become translucent. - Add Turmeric, garam masala, red chilli and coriander powder, mix it well.
  6. Add in the drained rice and water, - Cover with the lid and cook it for about 15 minutes on low flame.
  7. Open the lid after 20 minutes and fluff up the rice. - Serve it hot garnished with Coriander/Cilantro and Mint Leaves. You can serve any kind of Raita and mango pickle.
