  1. Take tomatoes chopped
  2. Take lemon size tamarind pulp
  3. Make ready chopped coriander leaves
  4. Get cumin seeds
  5. Take pepper corns

  9. Get curry leaves
  10. Get rasam powder

Instructions to make Tomato Rasam:
  1. Firstly soak tamarind in little warm water, squeeze out the pulp drain it and keep aside.
  2. Roughly pound peppercorns, cumin seeds, garlic together.
  3. Take a saucepan add in 1tsp ghee add mustard seeds, red chilli, few curry leaves saute for two minutes.
  4. When mustard seeds starts to splutter add chopped tomatoes,turmeric powder, and salt add little water, close the lid, put the flame on medium, let it cook until tomatoes becomes soft and mushy,
  5. Now add rasam powder(store-bought) add drained tamarind pulp, and two cups of water mix well, let it boil again nicely for about 10-12 minutes,
  6. Lastly, add chopped coriander leaves, and serve hot.
