- Mix evrything well and in the hot state only roll the mixture into small balls and sprinkle little saffron.
I used coarse besan or chickpea flour for this recipe, which is also known as Ladoo Besan. This will add a nice crunch to the texture. But here is the few things I'd change. The smell should be nutty kind of almondish. These cookies are gluten-free, and have great taste and texture, like better gourmet cookies.
