Drain and keep aside for ten to fifteen minutes. Corn Poha are Indian raw dried cornflakes is also known as Maize poha, Makai poha or pressed maize. Maize/ Corn is the major raw material used for the manufacture of corn flakes. Many calls this makai poha chivda or corn poha chivda.

Instructions to make Corn poha:
  1. You have to separate corn from it's skin and remove hairs properly.
  2. Now dry grind them into grinder and keep it aside, do not grind it fine.
  3. Heat the oil into a bread non- stick pan, roast peanuts into a low flame and keep it aside.
  4. Take same pan and put on some more oil, add curry leaves, mustard seeds.
  5. When the seeds crackle, add curry leaves, onions and saute on a medium flame for 1-2 min or till they turn translucent.
  6. Add turmeric, salt, sugar, green chillies or red chilli powder, chat masala and mix well.
  7. Add grind poha and saute for 2,3 min on a medium flame, adjust salt and chilli according to your taste.
  8. Garnish some it with Coriander leaves, squeeze lemon juice and saute well.
  9. Corn poha is ready to have as a evening snack.
