- Add milk. Stir occasionally till gravy thickens.
Drain the chickpeas and set aside. Select the high Sauté setting on the Instant Pot and heat the ghee. Add the cumin seeds directly to the hot oil at the bottom edges of the pot and cook until they start to sizzle, about. Stir to incorporate, making sure to use the spoon the scrape off any brown bits that have appeared on the bottom or sides of the pot. Pour in the vegetable stock and stir to scrape up all the brown bits in the pan.
