Serve scalloped potatoes with your favorite meat and watch your family fall in love. In a small saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth. Place a half of the sliced potatoes in a lightly greased one quart casserole dish. Pour half of cheese sauce over potatoes.

- Preheat oven 350.
- Dice both ham steaks, dice onion.
- Peal and slice both potatoes
- Grease cake pan and add ham, potatoes, onions
- In a small saucepan melt butter and valvita together over medium heat. Add milk and parmigian cheese, mix together. Add pepper and mix. Pour over the top of potatoes, ham, onion.
- Bake at 350 for at least an hour and a half or until potatoes are fully cooked and soft.
Repeat with second layer of potatoes and cheese sauce. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Top with some paprika for color. Homemade Scalloped Potatoes are on of my favorite side dishes! This recipe is loaded with fresh garlic, thyme, cheddar cheese and an amazing cream sauce.
